Citizens Advice Hampshire work in partnership with all Hampshire and Isle of Wight Bureaux on various projects.
Citizens Advice Hampshire are developing telephone services working with a number of Hampshire CABs and some in neighbouring counties. Essentially, this service provides a local solution to our community rather than having calls dealt with by a national call centre. In this way we are able to meet the needs of our clients more quickly and effectively. We are working with Citizens Advice nationally to develop this service.
Citizens Advice are developing a range of services to provide easy access to advice across a range of channels. We are doing our bit locally, working with 5 CABs to help develop online services. This fits nicely with the experience we have already gained by delivering Adviceline.
Local Welfare Crisis Line
Citizens Advice Hampshire are working with Hampshire County Council and a local CAB to manage the county Crisis Line. Although crisis payments have stopped from 1st April 2015 the line offers support and guidance for those people in our community that need help at a very difficult time.
