Need Advice?

In Person

Our trained advisers offer expert advice on virtually any problem, no matter how big or how small. Simply contact your local Citizens Advice Charity either by phone, making an appointment at the bureau or arranging a home visit.

By phone

If you prefer to use the phone, a number of Hampshire Charites operate Adviceline - a telephone service specifically to give help and support to clients who can't make it to a bureau. If you live in Basingstoke, East Hampshire, Gosport, Havant, the New Forest, Rushmoor, Tadley or Winchester, specially trained assessors are on-line waiting for your calls. Call on 03444 111 306.

Alternatively, you can contact the national Citizens Advice number on 03444 111 444. Callers using mobile phones should dial 0300 3300650.

On line

Or you can access advice any time, day or night, by using Advice Guide, our comprehensive national database of advice and information.

Hate Crime

If you have been, or think you have been the victim of Hate Crime then you are able to report this via True Vision, a national website where you can report hate crime on-line. Or alternatively go to Hampshire Constabulary's page on Hate Crime to find more information

Citizens Advice has been providing free, impartial, independent and confidential advice for over 70 years. These are the tops issues we have helped people in Hampshire with over the last year.

Hampshire County Council - Connect to Support Hampshire

Connect to Support Hampshire will be a countywide online information and advice guide and directory of services. It is designed for all adults who may search for information regarding care and support. The launch period of the website is during July 2016.

Connect to Support has three main functions:

  • a directory of free or low cost local groups, activities and services within the community

  • an information and advice section for individuals, carers, personal assistants, service providers, community organisations and health and social care professionals.

  • a directory of care providers (home care agencies and care homes)
