On 24th September 2025, The Home & Well project marked a major milestone. Five years of helping vulnerable Hampshire residents feel safe and supported in their own homes. To celebrate, Citizens Advice Hampshire hosted a special event at The Vineyard in Winchester, bringing together 115 guests from across public, private, and voluntary sectors.
A Celebration of Impact
Since its launch in 2020, Home & Well has supported over 10,000 individuals, tackling challenges like fuel and water poverty, housing issues, financial insecurity, and health concerns. The project’s unique wrap-around approach connects people to essential energy and water services, offers income maximization, debt advice and offers social support in their local community.
The day was all about:
- Recognising and celebrating the incredible contributions of the Home & Well Advisers, volunteers and our partners continuing support.
- Sharing client stories and insights.
- Exploring new ideas for the future.
Opening the Day
Facilitator Angela Gill welcomed guests and outlined the programme, followed by Neill Young, Interim Chief Executive of Citizens Advice Hampshire, who praised the network of 13 local Citizens Advice offices for supporting clients across Hampshire through challenging times. Sam Mabbott, Chief Executive, Citizens Advice Hart, then reflected on the project’s journey, highlighting the simplicity and success of the Home & Well referral process, the vital role of funding partners, and future aspirations.
